Course Details – A degree in Journalism and Mass Communication will help you fulfil your ambitious dreams. It will not just enhance your chances of getting a ticket to the newsroom but also be useful in other fields, such as communications, marketing, education, and entertainment. This is a two year (4 semesters) full time degree program.

Eligibility Criteria – Minimum 50% or equivalent in Graduate level (Gen/OBC/ Min). Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates

Hostel Fee:90,000/- Per Year

Merits –Journalism is the activity of gathering, assessing, creating, and presenting news and information. Basically, writing about recent developments. Mass communication is the study of spreading information to a large audience through various means of communication.

Duration – 2 year (4 semesters)

Intake –  40 seats

Attendance – A student must put in 75% of the total attendance for each subject in the absence of which he will not be eligible in the written examination of the subject.

Evaluation criteria –There are three sessional exams conducted every semester to test both the theoretical and practical knowledge of student in the respective subject along with the Semester end examination.
